Grab bars

Depending on their location, grab bars may help or hinder an individual with cognitive limitations. Typically, individuals with cognitive limitations rely heavily on procedural memory to accomplish daily tasks. Changing the task can complicate their accomplishment of habitual activities. This is a situation in which providing the changes early in the course of the disorder can be very helpful. In addition, other modifications of the wardrobe are very helpful for people with cognitive limitations.
