Transportation issues
Everything that Mrs. Jackson needs on a day to day basis is available in the facility. Because she prefers to cook her own meals most of the time, she relies on her niece to bring groceries. When she leaves the facility, it is either in the company of family members who transport her, or on a trip or outing arranged by the facility with transportation provided. The facility is on a bus line, but Mrs. Jackson would have considerable difficulty using regular public transportation because of her use of the walker and somewhat unsteady balance. Special transportation can be arranged either through the facility or through the local public transit company for medical appointments.
