Mr. Bynum still drives, and feels quite comfortable doing so. 

He also lives very close to a main bus line that goes to downtown, although the neighborhood is not one in which he would be comfortable standing at the bus stop. However, Eliza Bryant has a bus that takes him to doctor’s appointments, shopping, and on various leisure outings if he feels the need for this assistance.
