HW13 Due 5/5/06
7.10 1,3,5 note that the answer in the back of the text is incorrect for 7.10,1.  The recurrence relation is correct, but the series solution is not, so do problems 3 and 5 first to make sure you understand how to do this type of problem.  Though there are only 3 problems, this is still a 10 point homework exercise.

Week 16   4/24-4/28

Quiz: 4/24/06 10 convergence/divergence questions.  p. 625 of text will be provided.  State whether series converges conditionally, converges absolutely or diverges and state which test(s) you used to determine convergence or divergence.  Two of the 10 questions will involve power series and determining the interval of convergence.

Note that a link is available to McGraw Hill's website: here. Use the class code on your syllabus and the code that came with your text to register. Tutoring is also available through McGraw Hill's site by clicking the study tab and selecting Net-Tutor. The Live Tutor is available Mon-Thu 9:00AM-Midnight, Fri 9:00AM-9:00PM. There are Holiday Hours during which they are not available. This information is available on the site. The tutors have a copy of the text and can assist with specific problems. They are trained to provide assistance with the problems in the study guide. If you are stuck on an even numbered problem, just ask about a similar odd numbered problem, or you may ask for help with a topic. Earlier tutorial sessions are available as archives which you may also view. The availability of this resource and tutoring through the Math Learning Center does not mean that I am not also available to help. You may stop in during office hours, make an appointment or just drop by. I will generally not be available Thursdays and before class MWF.
