Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to frequently asked questions about Crooked River.
Who can submit articles?
Crooked River seeks to publish the work of individuals interested in social and urban history. It is not intended to be the preserve of academic historians although their involvement is certainly welcomed. But so is that of students of history at any level.
What kind of material can I submit?
We are interested in a wide range of material which sheds light on the experiences of those who have built this community. The range is limited only by the creativity of our readers, contributors and editorial board. Materials could include work based on research but it could also include photo essays, personal testimonies, family histories, etc.
What time period should the material cover?
There are no limitations on the chronological coverage. Clearly the work must reflect an appreciation of the history of the region.
Does the work have to deal with Cleveland?
We forsee several categories of work.
