(India Garden is located beside Finnish Garden on Martin Luther King Blvd., aka Liberty Blvd)

Programme: 9:30 - 12:00 p.m. Rite Aid Marathoners Run for the Gardens
12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Dance and Music at the Garden
2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Ground Breaking Ceremony

Directions: Take I-90E if coming from Cleveland West(Take I-90W if coming from East of Cleveland). Exit off Martin Luther King Blvd. exit., At end of ramp, turn right if coming from I-90 East, (turn left if coming from I-90 West). India Cultural Garden is located on Martin Luther Kind Blvd. just around the intersection of the Road leading to East Blvd. and Superior.

Dear Friends,

This is the beginning of a glorius era for the people of India in the Cleveland community. The event we have been long since waiting for is finally beginning to happen.

On May 22nd the India Cultural Garden is breaking ground at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens/Rockefeller Park.

Parking: Please note that MLK Blvd (a.k.a. Liberty Blvd) in Rockefeller Park/Cleveland Cultural Gardens will be closed for the RiteAid Marathon Event until 12:30pm. The Road will be open after 12:30pm and visitors are allowed to park by the side of MLK blvd. Visitors are also allowed to park on the east side of East Blvd. entire day. and also on the Sam Miller Park Parking lot.

Rite-Aid Marathon Event: Rite-aid Marathon event will be taking place at the Rockefeller Park/Cleveland Cultural Gardens and will happen between 9:00 am - 12:00pm on May 22nd. Everybody is requested to make a special effort to come and cheer the Marathoners who are doing a special service to the Garden to increase peoples awareness to the Garden and the message of Peace it propagates. The Organizers of the Marathon event have made a special request to the all the ethnic Gardens community members to dress up in their traditional dress and cheer the Marathoners by waving flags and Banners. They also have indicated that a prize money of $500.00 will be given to the Garden which has the largest community gathering at their gardens. So please let India Garden win the Prize. Please make a concerted effort to attend the Marathon event at the India Cultural Garden on May 22nd. Banners like 'India Loves the Cleveland Rite-Aid Marathoners' would be appropriate and will encourage the Marathoners in supporting the Gardens more. Cultural Gardens Tours: Cultural Gardens Tours are being arranged on May 22nd between 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Cultural Event is being organized by SCDI: Shivas Classical Dances International Will be conducting the Cultural Events at the Garden. The Dance group blends styles and music of various ethnic Communities and Culture. During this event they are show casing some of the Universal Principles dance items of "AHAM BRAHMAASMI" and few other patriotic and folk dance items. They will be also be doing the Ganesha Vandanam during the ceremony to seek the blessings of the God Ganesha - The remover of all obstacles.
