Research interests 

Her research areas are advanced control systems and their applications to real-world situations. Specific focus areas include adaptive control, Kalman filter control, robust control, parameter identification and observer design, applications of the advanced control methods to MEMS, and implementations of the controllers with embedded systems. She is particularly interested in combining the advanced control methods with traditional PID controller to solve the control problems associated with MEMS devices including the precise amplitude, frequency and phase control of MEMS inertial sensors, disturbance rejection, and minimizing the effects of fabrication imperfection.
