Goals

To work in teams of 3 – 4 to create a data analysis project appropriate for introductory statistics students
Provide a library of projects from the workshop for participants to use in their classes
Present the data, the project, and solution on Friday

Components of the Project

Should explain the context of the data and why it was collected
Should define the variables and the coding schemes
Provide questions for investigation appropriate for the data
Want project to be rich enough to be interesting, but not overwhelming to the students
Be careful of 5000 cell limit with student edition of Minitab
