| The cinema and its moving image aduncts have left an indelible mark on human history throughout their 110+-year history. Beginning with optical entertainment predating a widely used projection system, History of the Moving Image (COM 320) explores the inventions, innovators, film movements, and other trends that have marked the evolution of the moving image since 1895 in their social, economic, historical, and technological contexts. | |||
