RIB Interaction Scheme

Religion in Broadcasting (RIB) was a six-part content analysis project funded by Unda-USA.  It examined the verbal and nonverbal content of religious TV broadcasting during the 1980s.  The principal investigators were Robert Abelman and Kimberly Neuendorf of Cleveland State University.  Reports of their work in this project appear in Abelman and Neuendorf (1984a; 1984b; 1985a; 1985b; 1987) and Neuendorf and Abelman (1986; 1987).  See The Content Analysis Guidebook References page for more information about many of these studies.  The RIB Codebook and Coding Form may also be downloaded from this site.
