HIS 370 / 570, SUMMER WORKSHOP -
WORLD HISTORY FOR TEACHERS

WHAT'S NEW ON THE WEB SITE ?
The items listed below have been altered in some significant way or have recently been added to the site:
  • At long last the list of examples drawn from prior workshops has been uploaded to the web site. Be sure to realize that these examples were constructed in some cases using evaluation criteria no longer in use and many have weaknesses as well as strengths. Use them with care as models for your own efforts. (Tuesday, July 19, 2005)
  • The "Rogues' Gallery" of participant photographs has been uploaded to the course web site (together with directions for downloading individual pictures for use on your personal homepage. (Tuesday, July 12, 2005)
  • Tim Holmes, son of an earlier workshop participant and a high school and junior high computer teacher, webmaster and system administrator for his school network, in the summer of 2003 provided workshop participants with an illustrated guide to uploading files to WebCT -- still well worth checking out!

This site has been prepared by Lee A. Makela (l.makela@csuohio.edu) for the use of students at Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, who are enrolled in HIS 370 / 570, Summer Workshop: World History for Teachers, during the Summer Session of the 2004 - 2005 Academic Year; please contact him with any comments.
