A graduate of Cedarville College (now Cedarville University) with a B.A. in history, I have also taken classes at Central State University (Ohio), Bowling Green State University (Ohio), the University of Akron (Ohio), and am currently pursuing my masters degree in history at Cleveland State University, in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Joan has also served an internship in field archaeology at The Hermitage, President Andrew Jackson's home near Nashville, Tennessee. Joan has taught for twenty-four years, the last nineteen years at Medina Christian Academy where she is a high school faculty member, teaching primarily in the history department.
