Religion, Economics
Economics, trade and religion affected, both positively and negatively, world exploration between 700 CE to 1600 CE. Upon interacting, cultures of a lesser social and technological level often were at a disadvantage while those that were more developed were at an advantage.
The purpose of this web lesson is to look in greater detail upon the above statement, and to allow students to make comparisons between three widely different societies. It also stands to show students that exploration was not strictly the realm of the Europeans.
