NEW ON THE WEB SITE

below have recently been altered in some significant way or have been
added to the site.
- The Course
Evaluation Questionnaire has been updated and can also be accessed
directly from the Homepage as well as the
final section of the Course Schedule. (Wednesday, December 8, 2004)
- A schedule shift
involving an opportunity to see both parts of the video, The Gate of
Heavenly Peace, as well as a supporting Internet web site have both
been added to the course schedule for Wednesday,
December 1, 2004 (also of use for the two sessions which follow).

in the first Chinaline Conference has been

- Corrections have
been made in the due date of Journal Assignment
Two. (Monday, September 27, 2004)
- CHINALINE
role assignments have been made for all four sessions scheduled during
the current semester; the course schedule has been modified as well
to accomodate the elimination of the two additional CHINALINE panels
originally scheduled -- both have been replaced by lecture / discussion
sessions. (Monday, September 20, 2004)
- The due date for
the initial reading assignment in Spence (listed on the Course
Schedule under September 3, 2004) has been updated to Friday, September
24, 2004; the change has also been made in the print-out
version of the course syllabus. (Wednesday, September 1, 2004)
- The WebCT (password-protected
) portion of the course web site is now up and running. If this is the
first time you have used WebCt, go to the WebCT
homepage to create your My WebCT account first. If you already have
a MyWebCT page, simply add the course (found under "history")
to your page. Please register using your complete given and family names
so that the instructor is able to identify you! (Monday, August 30,
