TEACHING RESOURCES

The RESOURCE DIRECTORY TO CLEVELAND HISTORY, put together and maintained by Althea Hughes- Lewis and Sharon Wiener of the Cleveland Heights - University Heights school system, provides lots of information useful to K - 12 instructors looking for inspiration or a guide to local resources. The site includes both a detailed timeline and a guide to Cleveland area institutions, DOORS TO CLEVELAND, which includes considerations of how available resources at each site might fit into a first rate educational experience.

TEACHING CLEVELAND, an online legacy from the celebration of the city's bicentennial created by Edmond Wong, includes a wide-ranging series of literaly hundreds of lessons geared to various age levels plus a compact bibliographic resource guide for teachers.
