JOURNAL
ASSIGNMENT FOUR
Taking into account the subject matter covered in this past week's seminar session on Chinese Daoism / Taoism and the associated reading assignments, comment on what topics / themes you might chose to consider within the context of a course that you currently teach (or are planning to teach) and what teaching activities and resources you would employ to reach your specific instructional goals. Consider, too, how would you justify the inclusion of this material (in terms either of content or skill development objectives) -- to yourself, your students, their parents, your supervisor. You may chose to submit your comments on the above either as an email journal entry sent directly to the instructor as usual or as an extended comment posted to the bulletin board section of the password-protected portion of the course web site. When posting to the course Bulletin Board, for easier reference by others, list the topic you are presenting as the subject for your posted remarks. PLEASE POST YOUR COMMENTS IN THE CORRECT FORUM to avoid confusion. Please email or post your remarks NO LATER THAN Tuesday, February 22, 2005 to allow the opportunity for comments by fellow seminar participants and the instructor. |
This site has been prepared by Lee A. Makela for the use of teachers enrolled in the Freeman Seminar at Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, between January and March 2002; please contact him by email with any comments at l.makela@csuohio.edu.
