Field Notes: Japan 2005

This series of reports recounts observations made by Lee Makela while acting as Study Leader for "Japan By Train", a Study Abroad Travel Seminar sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution of Washington, D.C.

The seminar program was conducted in Tokyo, Matsumoto, Takayama, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Kurashiki, Tamatsukuri Onsen and Kyoto, Japan between October 25th and November 5th of 2005.
