EBISU GARDEN PLAZA
EBISU

The center of this complex is a luxurious Westin Hotel surrounded by high rise apartment buildings, the Sapporo Beer headquarters, a Mitsukoshi department store and an extensive shopping mall full of fashionable shops and restaurants. Connecting the Plaza area to the nearest train station is an incredibly lengthy moveable Skywalk similar to those found in airport terminals.

I had a nice lunch here and enjoyed the people watching as I wandered hither and yon about the extensive park-like setting before heading back to Kichijoji and the Ghibli Museum.
