Fonts

LogicCoach 9 uses the font named LogicCoach3 that is found inside the file LC_3Plus.TTF. It is required for the proper functioning and appearance of the exercises in Chapters 6, 7 and 8 as well as of those in the Truth Tree Supplement.

When the application LogicCoach is installed, the font is placed inside of the Windows fonts directory and it too is installed. However, some students complain that the font works once and then the next time LogicCoach is opened, the font is reported as needing reinstallation. There is a work around.

The work around is to find the font name LogicCoach3 in the font folder and double click on it. That will reinstall the font if it is on your system. Otherwise, you will have to find the original install package and reinstall the entire LogicCoach 9 program.

To find the font folder, click on START and then on RUN. A dialog box will open. In it, type the word FONTS and then press the <Enter> or <Return> key. In a few seconds, the fonts folder should appear. Click on the heading labeled Font Name and then press the L on the keyboard. The first font name that begins with an L will appear. Keep pressing L until the fontname LogicCoach3 appears. This is the one on which you are to double click. When you do so, Windows will open a box showing some of the characters in various sizes. Close the box and the folder.

Now, the font has been reinstalled. Restart LogicCoach 9 and you should be able to work the exercises that need the font.
