PHL 130, Introduction to Logic

MWF, 11:00—12:05

Syllabus

This section of PHL 130 is part of a Learning Community called Life, Leadership and Logic for which students will earn a total of 12 Credit Hours. It examines contemporary societal issues and the various ways in which we try to make sense of our worlds, analyze situations, define realities, and engage with others in society. Issues of personal and shared responsibility for society and its members will be considered in the context of the way we live our lives and construct our worlds. Students will be challenged to examine old ways of knowing as they develop strong analytical skills and explore this theme in the context of their own lives and visions for the future.
