The
Official LogicCoach Page is maintained by the program's distributor, the Cengage
Publishing Company. The program was developed by Professor Nelson Pole
of the
Philosophy Department at Cleveland State University who also maintains this site.
The instructor programs provide two services to faculty whose students use LogicCoach
(1) They provide access to the online Instructor's Manual that documents the functioning of the LogicCoach program. This should never be made accessible to students as it provides details about the anti-plagiarism features.
(2) They provide a means to read (decode) student submitted records of work done in LogicCoach. To facilitate processing the records by other programs, the decoding function also allows the saving of the decoded record in a format readable by other programs. LogicCoach Record Decoder
for the 10th edition of the Hurley Text. The versions are designed to operate on any machine on which LogicCoach has already been installed. Just put them into their own folders. Remember: To maintain security, do not show these instructor files to students.
