The following courses are the core of an upcoming focus area in mechatronics offered by the Mechanical Engineering Department at CSU.
MCE403/503: Modeling and Simulation of Mechatronic Systems (Fall 05)
MCE603: Interfacing and Control of Mechatronic Systems (Spring 06)
MCE6XX: Data Acquisition and Control for Mechatronics (TBA)
The focus area is being designed to offer a good balance between solid theoretical foundations and practical skills. Modern, specialized software will be used to support theory, and state-of-the art equipment continues to be added to the mechatronics instructional laboratory.
