Note the
revised schedule for the next several weeks (through spring break).

February 15, 2005

emergency. On the 17th, we will discuss the readings that were assigned
for the 15th, as well as the first 75 pages of Nash.
February 13, 2005
See the reading preparations for the February
15th assignment, re. Knowing Teaching & Learning History, or click
this link. NOTE: There are some problems with the ECR readings and I have
changed the assignment accordingly. ...
Also, be sure to keep reading
Nash, History on Trial; read for general argument and NOT every
detail. Get an overall sense of who the major actors are, of course; but
also read for examples, stories, or anecdotes that speak to you about
larger themes in the book. Write those anecdotes down with your reflection
on them.
February 8, 2005
See the reading preparations for the February
10th assignment, re. Wineburg, or click this link; also for Ohio
Senate Bill 24, click this link.

the bookstores; look after February 5th; Peter Stearns, et. al., Knowing,
Teaching, and Learning History will NOT be available in any form,
except electronic reserve.
