EEC 490 Senior Design

Spring Semester 2012

Course Objectives:          Students are formed into small design groups (typically three students) and assigned a project. In addition to carrying out the design project, students are required to keep a design notebook, to write progress reports and a final report, and to make an oral presentation of the design effort.
Specifically in the spring 2012 semester, students will be involved in developing multidisciplinary Kinect applications for monitoring and data acquisition for rehabilitation research and clinical study.

  • Class participation is mandatory (20% of the course)
  • Class participation includes the following
    1. Attend all lectures given in the first two weeks
    2. Show up in the lab visit on time
    3. Show up and be prepared for each group meeting
    4. Show up and be prepared for each project presentation
    5. Submit all required deliverables on time

 

Grading

        Projects 80%

 

The final grading is based on your accumulated effort in this course. Your final grade is determined approximately based on the following schedule:

A: 90-100%

A-: 85-89%

B+: 80-84%

B: 70-79%

B-: 65-69%

C: 60-64%

D: 50-59%

F: <50%
