Dr. Pong P. Chu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cleveland State University. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University. His research and teaching are in the areas of hardware design, embedded systems, FPGA (field-programmable gate array), and HDL (hardware description language). Dr. Chu has received multiple NSF instructional grants and is the author of seven textbooks. Three books were later translated into Chinese and Korean.
