Sherry Maruna received a BA and MA in History from Cleveland State University.
Her academic accomplishments include editing the e-journal, Crooked River, processing
historical documents for the Str. William G. Mather, and co-presenting Cleveland's
First Infrastructure: The Ohio & Erie Canal from George Washington to Alfred Kelly:
A Multi-Media Presentation, as well as receiving the Phi Alpha Theta Outstanding
Graduate Student of the Year Award ('99-'00) and a Creative Writing Scholarship
('98). She is currently enrolled at Lakeland Community College and will enter
