I received my PhD in Mathematics from CINVESTAV-IPN, Mexico, in May 2016, under supervision of Prof. Rafael H. Villarreal. By earning a Swiss Excellence Scholarship Award, part of my PhD studies, from 2014 to 2015, were made at University of Neuchatel, Switzerland, under supervision of Prof. Elisa Gorla. My PhD thesis focussed on coding theory from an algebra point of view. From 2016 to 2018 I was a Postdoctoral Fellow under direction of Dr. Felice Manganiello in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Clemson University. My postdoctoral research was partially supported by a personal grant from the Mexican National Science Foundation ( CONACyT ).
