The Arbeitsgemeinschaft was held at the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut
Oberwolfach from April 3, 2011 to April 8, 2011.
Rational Homotopy was born as the perfect algebraic realization of
homotopy theory disregarding torsion phenomena. Although the motivation
for its development came from topology, its description in terms of
de Rham-type forms points toward a beautiful relationship with geometry
and all things geometric. This Arbeitsgemeinschaft examined the
various ways that rational homotopy theory connects with other areas of
mathematics. In the tradition of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft, the large majority
of talks were given by young people who wanted to learn of areas a bit
outside their specialties. For more information, including the program,

Arbeitsgemeinschaft April 2011.
