Her doctoral research focused on developing nanostructured materials with catalytic properties. Currently, her work centers on musculoskeletal tissue engineering, where she is involved in the biofabrication of regenerative constructs to promote functional muscle regeneration. By integrating materials chemistry, biofabrication and cell biology, Dr. Ozhava aims to engineer regenerative musculoskeletal implants with translational potential for clinical and therapeutic use.
