Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of the Waste Heat Energy Recovery Living Lab

On February 21, 2025, the SHBE lab launched the Waste Heat Energy Recovery Living Lab, which was set up in conjunction with Paragon Robotics, under a Department of Energy (DOE) grant. The goal of the lab is to collect data from a newly installed waste heat recovery system, which will help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of heating in the Science Research building on CSU’s campus. Data from this lab will be used to educate students on building energy efficiency measures.
