about
The multidisciplinary and collaborative IERS center aims to advance research and education in two major domains: energy systems modeling and built-environment resiliency and sustainability.
The first domain focuses on the fundamentals of scientific modeling techniques:
- Integrated physics-informed and data-driven modeling
- Multi-scale multi-domain (e.g., social, human factor, etc.) modeling
- Renewable energy integration
The second domain will focus on impactful applied research domains including:
- Energy sustainability
- Infrastructure resiliency
- Energy in transportation
